How I rate books:
Because I operate within the parameters of Goodreads and StoryGraph ratings, I assign the books I read a number of stars from one to five, with half stars in between as necessary. I come up with this number by judging these aspects: writing style/quality, characters, plot, pacing, insightfulness, and overall enjoyability.
