September is my month you guys!! I’m so excited it’s finally here! You can already feel the start of autumn creeping around the corner. You better believe I’m going to be drinking pumpkin spice everything until I turn into a pumpkin entirely.
There’s so many books I’m looking forward to reading this month! I’m terrible at sticking to TBR’s but I like to make them anyway just in case.
Here are some titles I’ll be aiming to get to:
Five Dark Fates by Kendare Blake
How I’ve managed to maintain self control all this time since the end of Two Dark Reins, I’ll never know. I just got my copy of FDF in the mail though so I’ll be tearing through that momentarily!
Howl’s Moving Castle by Diana Wynn Jones
It’s one of my favorite Ghibli movies and I’ve heard such amazing things about the book. I could really go for a wholesome, magical story like this one.
Sorcery of Thorns by Margaret Rogerson
I admit that I did not like An Enchantment of Ravens. I gave it two stars and with that, I decided I wasn’t going to fall for Rogerson again. But that cover… and that hype… it’s too much for me. I was speaking with a fellow bookworm on Instagram the other day and she told me that while she agreed AEOR was not amazing, Sorcery most definitely was and I should give it a shot. So here I am, ready to give Rogerson one more go. I purchased the ebook, out of love for my own wallet and I’ll only buy that gorgeous hardcover with the sprayed edges if it really blows my mind. We’ll see.
Serpent & Dove by Shelby Mahurin
I was just talked into this book today actually. I’m a sucker for slow burn romance, and an even bigger sucker for that enemies-to-lovers trope. I’ve never heard of this author before so I’m excited to try something new!
